Seven More SIMI Terror Suspects Arrested in Madhya Pradesh
BHOPAL: Taking the raids on Students Islamic Movement of India (SIMI) activists from urban to rural areas, the police went deep into Nimar and Malwa regions of Madhya Pradesh and, by early hours of Monday, had arrested seven more “grassroots workers” of the banned outfit. They are also raiding rural areas in several other districts including Khandwa and Dhar.
Speaking to TOI, cabinet minister Kailash Vijayavargiya said: “Not only has the Indore police arrested those wanted in the terror bomb-blasts throughout the country, they have also foiled another major plot to kill top BJP and VHP leaders — including L K Advani, Narendra Modi and Praveen Togadia.”
